    another headlight question

I looked at a couple of threads and was wondering-i jumped the headlight relay and got the headlights working but if i unplug the rlu the headlight goes off.Is this normal? Also the warning light on my SG that supposedly tells you if the headlight is burned out-does not light. If i remove the bulb then should this warning light work?

Yes and yes. Maybe the warning light is burned out?
    I fixed my headlight relay.
The white wire inside came off, so I resoldered it.
I believe someone else had the same thing, so you may want to jimmie the cover off and have a look.

I took apart the relay. No wire just a spring loaded piece that has a contact on it.I guess when you energize the relay the contact hits the other contact. No wire inside whatsoever.

You can test it if you have a meter.
Energize the yellow and black, see if you get a connect from blue to red(?)
