How many XS's out there?

Just wondering if anyone knows, or knows where to find, information on how many of each year/model were produced by Yamaha... just curious, really... but I guess my interest was sparked by constantly seeing the word "rare" in auctions for the midnight special. If you do happen to know the info on this... I'm particularly partial to the Eleven SG.

No concrete numbers but this is what I have heard:

The Special outsold the Standard two to one.

The Midnight Special was rare in 1980, only one per dealer, in 81 though they flooded the market with them.

Other than that I have never seen or heard any production numbers.
