  • Got it running :)

    I used a fused jumper wire but 12v is only getting to 1 coil but the other side fires fine. Ill probobly order a set of coils. It runs fine now but gotta get rid of the ocotopus gas is only getting to two cilinders..

    Octopus.

    Hi Bamper,
    "what you said is not what you meant" ?
    Are all 4 firing or only 2?
    And the octopus may or may not be working but if fuel gets to one pair of carbs and not the other you have plumbed it up all wrong.
    If it's working, one pair of carbs is most likely hooked to "prime" instead of "on" and the carbs fed from "prime" don't see gas when the gas tap is switched to "on".
    If it ain't working the reverse will happen.

      The hoses are on the right spot but I gotta get rid of the octopus, the gasket is bad.

        Run a hose from the forward nipple on the right carb to the fuel inlet T on the left two carbs (1 & 2), and run a hose from the forward nipple of the left petcock to the right side carbs (3&4). Be careful not to kink the lines, and remember to turn the petcocks on and off.
