Oil Level gauge

Does anyone know where I can find an oil level gauge that is supposed to be in the tool kit? Does anyone have a source for obtaining the gauge? OR how do you check the middle gear and final gear oil levels without the gauge?

Hey smegsjr,
I bought my Middle & Final Drive dipstick from the Yamaha Dealer in Oregon City, OR. So check w/ your local shop too.

They had 'em in stock...... I believe the part # 2H7-2815A-00-00 is the correct one, but won't swear to it. Somewhere around $4 or $5 I think. It has been a year or so since.
