JustJeff - Got one word for you - WOW!!! Love the paint, love the seat, motor looks clean enough to eat off of, and the turbo - totally awesome. Nice work.

Very nice quality work there. I see you discovered V-max shocks as an alternative rear shock....I bet that bike has got some V-boost?...chop

what size rear tire will you go with? I like that turbo muffler on the left side...just remember I will need a good middle drive shaft and the inner bearing c-clip and that outter locking nut....chop

                    Chain drive

I have lots of middle drives.

I haven't worked out the details for the rear tire and swing arm yet. Was looking at your setup with the Kawasaki swing arm.

Maybe you can help me decide the best way to go. As you can see I have tried to keep it looking like an XS1100 (as much as you can with a turbo hanging off of it). Form is as important as function to me. If Yamaha made it with a chain how would it look?

I think a 160 section tire would look good without looking out of place.

                    What do you think?

                      Think

Aesthetics is all about beauty in the eye of the beholder. I think a 160 is the minimum tire that should be considered when converting to chain....I just installed the other rim I have with 190 tire on a few days ago to try it out as compared to my 200.....I really can't tell the difference there. When Scappod gets his chaindrive done he can chime in....The zrx11 rim can take a 180, but come 170 stock which looks good....This big bike is just begging for fatter Radial meats.....Chop

                          Busy Season

I would like to get this all worked out and collect up parts this summer.

Right now we are just starting the busy season and everybody else's bike comes first (pays better than working on my own).

I would like to take some time to talk about exactly how it has been done so I don't have to reinvent the wheel so to speak.

I will re read XSCHOP's write-ups and try to get it going next week.

                              Thanks

Thanks for all the kind words.

So many good things you have all said about my bike.

It has been a very special project to me. There is allot of history with it. It has been around longer with me than most of my friends all of my kids (and my ex wife...).

Don't know why I did it.... It just needed to be done (and I am still doing it).

                              Thanks
