    XJ1100 Front Master Cylinder

I am looking for a front master cylinder assembly for a 1982 XJ1100 Maxim which I just aquired. The bike is ragged but complete. I am also looking for the rubber intakes. If anyone knows of a source (other than Zanotti's - I already use them) or has parts that they would like to sell to get this great bike back on the road please let me know.

      Used Intakes

      Mike,

I bought new intakes from www.partsnmore.com for $80 including shipping. I will sell you my old ones for $20 if you like. I was about to put them on ebay. They have some exterior cracking but the inside is sound. I bought the new ones to be sure I would not have problems for a long time. If you are interested, I will email you pictures.

Thanks for the reply. Please give me a week or so to decide. Send pictures to: smegsjr@snet.net Thanks for the parts and more link. If they still have them I am going to try and go with new.

Fill in the cracks with BLACK rtv, then coat them with rubber spray coating from NAPA. There is a tech tip on this I believe. I done this on my Special, and it works like a charm. Is not an eyesore either.
