    For john

Hey John, when you get the 750 FD onto the special, check your MPG's. I am assuming It still has the original 1100cc's? I see that you and Todd have the 1179 kits and both of you haven't seen an actual increase in MPG's.....curious minds

I put mine on way before I did the 1179. I ride long distances, short distances, and my carbs are tuned well. I've just never seen any MPG difference in either type of riding. AND... I seem to get the same MPG with the 1179 kit that I did with the stock engine(s)??

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

        Ethanol

I only fill up at Shell, there are two near home and work that are 100% ethanol free....about a year or two back I was getting gas from 7-11 a few blocks down Western and I realized my MPG's were suffering....The Bastards have it in their gas but did not advertise on the pumps. Now in Oklahoma, by law as of June 1, if you sell ethanol gas, you must mark the pump clearly.....JAT

          750 Swap

well after hitting a sink hole at 60 mph and snapping my eft side ex in half anf breaking a shock mount i figured it a ood time to do my swap.I bushing from bronze at buddies machine shop did the O ring and RTV to hold it in place.since i have a few swingarms i was able to get everything ready before i pulled mine part. everything got greased now i was anticipating the dreaded lining up of the sahft into the U jount coupling.
Imagine my suprise when i slid in shaft turned it half a click and it slid rt in total time for swap under and Hr LOL im a happy camper. now she has New Tires, New EBC Brake pads , cross drilled rotors im Styling.
