I was disassembling my carbs to give them a much needed cleaning, and was having trouble getting the main jet out due to a poorly fitting screwdriver. The slot on the jet is so wide that even my larger screwdrivers didn't fit well and the jet was in very tight. Briggs & Stratton makes a special tool for removing carb mounting screws on their older engines. I gave it a try in the jet slot and it was a perfect fit, also with the extra leverage the jets came right out without a single slip. The part number for the tool is 19305 and retails for $13.35 and can be ordered from any small engine shop that works on Briggs & Stratton. I'm not saying this is a must have tool, but I can say that it saved me from having to drill and EZ-Out the jets and having to replace them with new.
