From what I've read a 140 should fit as long as it doesn't have raised letters on it. A few have expressed concerns about it rubbing only during cornering due to the side loads. It will be tight. I've read about spacing the rim out away from the swing arm and then shifting the whole swing arm left to keep things centered for more clearance but haven't done it myself. Going to a 70 series will mean the tire will be slightly shorter then stock, look for a 140/80/16 to keep things at stock hight or a 140/90/16 for slightly taller then stock. Remember the standards came with a 17" rim which makes the tire a full inch taller.
