    Yeah... I saw that too...

after I posted the link... but I suppose... the one looked to be in decent shape... and if someone is desperate enough... they'll take it...
At least it's sort of what you're looking for... so should the footpeg rubber fairy come to town... they'll know what you're needing...

Wildkat, Yea that`s what I need, however, the ones I want to replace are almost as good as the ones listed on E-bay. Mine are tearing inboard near the engine. My bike has never been dumped, so the rubber on the ends is still good. Thanks to all that posted!

So here's what I did... Looked up the part number in Yamaha's website... then went to Google and typed in "Yamaha parts"

A multitude of sites came up. Just go into the sites and paste the part number. In a short time, I found 2 sites that listed as having them.

The part number for the SG is 3H5-27413-01-00

Some sites want the number without the dashes.

Here's a couple sites that listed as having them.

        Here...

        And here...

You'll have to paste that part number. The first one in Texas is the cheapest. There has got to be a ton of these in the backs of parts houses that have been there for years... you just need to find those parts houses.

          Shhhh ....

Tod, now they'll all be doin' it , at least that's what Emerill says when he shares something really clever.

Kidding aside, very cool process for finding hard-to get-stuff or anything else for that matter. Excellent, thx.

I hate to make negative comments about Mike's XS, but I put his replacement footpeg covers on my XS650. If you use your bike, they last about one season. They look great and fit perfectly when they are new.

The XS1100SG shares footpeg covers with the Venture, IIRC. I just bought new ones from Yamaha and they look exactly like the original ones on my bike. I have yet to install them, but I have no doubt they are correct.

                  Hi Tod,
I checked Stadium Yamaha and they list the same 3H5-27413-01-00 footrest rubber as fitting the '80 Standard and the '80 Special and we know that ain't so. Then I checked Xtreme Powersport; they have the 3H5-27413-01-00 part, don't say what it fits on and their list only goes back to '89 so I dunno.

I don't know if you want to use another make but i took off and changed the foot pegs on my 99 ZRX 1100.I drilled out the holes a bit and got them to fit on my SG without that much effort.
