  • dyna coil supplier

I have found a supplier for Dyna coils for our beloved machines.
The company is called Horse Power and they are situated in County Meath in Ireland. The phone number is 040 555684 and speak to Donal or Mike.
I have ordered a set of coils and a new filter for a xs 11 made by velosport.
They are a mail order company. Will let you all know how I get on.

    regards
    Blaise

Looks like you can buy direct from Dyna Online.
Click on "coils" and you will find a shopping cart.

      thanks Yuudy,
But I do not like the idea of having my credit card details on the net. I work alongside the computer industry. So I guess this info is for the boys and girls who feel like I do about the net security.
      regards
      Blaise.

I too work in the computer industry.
I am a webmaster and have created many a shopping cart, I have also been an online shopper for about 5 or so years and have never had a problem.
I always deal with reputable suppliers.
The way I look at it is, shopping online has the same dangers as forgeting to take and destroy any carbon copy of a credit card sales slip, not shreading all mail that bears any personal information before throwing it away, or not owning a zero liability for unauthorized charges credit card.

Of course, this is just my opinion.

          Howdy,
I just got off the phone with the guys at dynatec in california. The man on the other end, scott, said there are two different resistance coils, a 1.5 and a 3 ohm. It's about $150 for the set, but which set do I need for the 80g. After talking to him I'm really afraid to get the wrong set as he stated it could really mess up the other electrics in the system.

Umm...check out the coil FAQ... But I am sure you must have done that already?

quote" Here is where it gets fun. Get your speed up to your normal cruising range and keep it there for a minute or two."

hi gary, was enjoying your coil replacment advice, one thing tho the advice you were given about the plug chop is incorrect in one part, the bike should be ridden at FULL throttle in 3rd gear(any gear really, third is stronger than second but top is most fun) it must be held wide open for a 30 seconds or at least, preferably up a medium incline (if there are no hills near you get a fat or big passenger) to load the engine. now i just know your gonna say that flat out is your normal cruising range...lol keep up the good work
