rear tire
my 79 xs11f came with a 4.50X17 rear tire (STOCK).i have a dunlop tour elite II on right now,but it's time to change ,no tread left.i was wanting to put on a little bit wider tire. i think a 4.50 is the same as a 120. can a 130 fit on these bikes. theres only about 1/2" clearance between the tire and the drive shaft, and about 1" on the other side.

i run a 130 X 90 X 17 on my '78 XS11E, without any problem it may even be possible to go bigger than this since there is still plenty of room for a wider tire on my bike. Most good cycle shops can help with this.Red Baron
