Mikuni Carbs

My carbs are in dire need of "Emulsion Tubes" . Does anyone know where i can find new ones? If not can someone tell me of other carbs that i may be able to get them out of and what i should look for in a used tube. I have a 1979 XS1100F. Would appreciate any help i can get.

Try http://www.mikesxs.net/ They should have an emulsion tube that will work. I just ordered jets from him. Don't let him know it's for an XS1100, as he WILL NOT want to sell you the parts. I just ordered online, an received the parts about 1 week later.

I also have a 79sf and there is no place on the face of the planet that has emulsion tubes that are the correct stock one. I've searched High and low and couldn't find anything. I couldn't even find anything "close". The ones from mikesxs are "Y0" and ours are "X2" that makes the size difference like .03mm or something. They will fit in our carbs but you will need to go to a much smaller main jet to compensate and you may need to use a different needle jet. If you do a search here someone did switch successfully to the Mikesxs tubes but I can't remember the details. If you do find a source for new ones please let me know, you would be my hero!
