  • Asking price for fairing and sidebags?

    Hey all,

I stripped the fairing and sidebags off my 1981 XS last year and I really have no use for them at all. Since they take up so much real estate in the basement I'm considering selling them (likely locally with any luck).

They're in mint condition, what's a good asking price?

Asking price is what someone will pay for it! As far as a STARTING POINT, I would probably go with $500 to $600 with all mounts and wire harness, ready to install. The big problem will be finding an XS owner near you that is looking for one. JMHO

      Good for who?

      Hi Datter,
I'd look up what similar new aftermarket components would cost and ask 50% of that. I think Crazcnuk paid $500 for a similar packege last year.
