brake pad question

I need to replace pads, front and rear,

found these on flea-bay

they show same #'s front and rear, I think I recall that the specials are different from front and read,

or are my braincells needing a defrag

hey there renegade_xs11g....nice 2 c u....actually i think that you are correct....fronts and rears are made of different materials........search the manuals and i'm sure u will find the info....specials r not my speciality.....have a good one...ross

or, rather, I left it on the kitchen table and SWMBO has rendered it invisible again,
every time I leave something in her area (everywhere that isn't 'basement') she puts the spell on it, I guess I'll have to wait til it wears off!

Wrong pads

Hi Renegade,
if you scan down the body of that ad you will see "Also fits XS650" This means they will fit an XS11 Standard but NOT an XS11 Special. XS11 Specials have tapered pads to go with the swivelly front calipers. You can still get them at Dennis Kirk and I'm sure, lotsa other suppliers.
