  • Yamaha Fairings

There is a DOHC 750 Standard , around 1978, Setting in the back of our shop the last 15 years. I have a 1978 XS1100 standard.
I was looking at it the other day,OK I was stealing brake parts off of it! I was thinking the fairing would look much better cleaned up and on my bike instead of cathing all the bird crap coming from the rafters.
Can anyone tell me if they are the same and will fit either bike?

    Unsure BUT......

I am unsure about your question but ....
Are you leaving a fairing on your bike if so would you want to sell your front square turn signals if they are in good shape? please email me at schuetzexpress@hotmail.com either way.
    THANKS!

      Turn signals.....

      Hello James,
For what it is worth, you can buy new rectangular turn signals from www.PartsNmore.com, or www.650motorcycles.com/

Some of the accessories for the smaller XS's will fit the XS11's just fine.

      Just a thought......

I forgot I even posted this. Old age is creeping up!
I only got front turn signals that are good, the rest are rusty and don't work well. I want to keep the two good ones.

Red is right, try ParstsnMore. You will find new ones at a real, real good price.
I've used them quite a bit and always pleased with what I got and the prices are the best around.
        He ships FAST.

The fairing I was asking about is on a Yamaha 750 triple, about 1980 modle. It has been abandoned in the back of our shop for
15 years now. It's now worth getting in trouble over so I'll wait till my brother gets back this spring and get his ok before I try anything.
It's a shame to see what was a good bike being used form a bird rest!
