My Maxim still has the security chain that came with the bike. How many of you still has thier security chain on the bike. Roy

I have it on the 81H. but I have never used it.Skids (Sid Hansen)

OK...have only a few F's a couple SF's, down to one sorta G, an LG and a SH... BUT have no "security chains" nor have I seen a place to keep one. How about a pick of what it be and where it's kept

Maybe a Maxim thing?
I have mine and have used it a few times. a bit tricky to get it back in sometimes. sorry no pic MRO it lives in a "box" below the side cover. Uses the same key as the ignition which is handy.

Behind left side cover be the tool box right behind the battery.
Mine have no room left for a chain altho have managed to stick in a spare H4 bulb on my standards.

Chain?
I've had a couple of these XS's and worked on several others and never saw any chain or box to hold it.... Are you sure it's a XS11?You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

OK, I believe you
Daily ride is a special, but no chain.
The other SF, LG and SH be chain deprived as well
Not that I would want a "security chain", but would like to see just what the OEM one looks like
