  • Tire question...

Hee hee hee... You rolled your eyes when you saw the thread huh!! lol.

This question is for those of you who buy your tires online. You have obviously shopped around and looked for the best prices including shipping. I think I am going to try the Dunlop Elite 3 tire on the front hoping to get some decent mileage out of it.

SO.... Where is a good site? I typed in motorcycle tires and did a search. Hoping someone can help me wade through the crud to the good stuff.

    Thanks.

    Tod

I been looking and looking at tires. The best price I've found is at Motorcycle-Superstore.com . Great prices and they're shipping for free on orders over $75 for a limited time.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

I bought my Dunlop Elite #s at www.motorcycle-superstore.com. Best price and quick delivery, just over $200 for the set.

Trbig - there's been a lengthy discussion on tires going on in this thread: Let's talk tires . Might be worth a read.

Hi trbig. I had the dunlap 627 on the SHotgun Special but they don't make them any more and replaced them with dunlap 404's I got them at shade tree powersports. $79 for the rear and $72 for the front. there wed site is www.shadetreepowersports.com. There prices are lower than any I found close to me.

          Trapper

Thanks guys. I wasn't trying to make this into a tire "Type" debate... just wondering which online store had the best prices. I realized some may have a better price on Metzlers, and not so good on Dunlops or vice versa. That's the only reason I stated the brand.

            Thanks for your input.
