Is it worth having a spair ignition coil for an XJ11?

I know of clean one for sale, around $25.

Is it worth buying and keeping?

    thanks, LS

    IMHO not really!

You can get a NEW HI Output 3 ohm coil that will work with the XJ's from Mikes XS for $36.00 IIRC, or cheaper, plug and play. So....a used one for that price isn't really much of a bargain!

      Hi LCS,

If you have $25 you don't need, it sounds OK... But coils tend to go out in pairs.....

Some of us collect spares..... some buy 'em when we need 'em.....

      Which are you????

        Thank you TopCatGr58 and AlanB,

I do indeed have far better use for that money.

Some just collect a bunch XStra XSes for parts....
Then decide to get em running and then need just a few more parts
