  • Engine cover... reprise.

Suddenly, all the stuff started arriving in the mail.
The zrx carbs are here, the full gasket set and the valve grinding paste is on the bench, the oil cooler arrives Monday...
So by this weekend, I will have the valves lapped in and will be ready to put it all together...
But... I sent the covers away to be polished at the beginning of the week and it's going to be a few weeks before they are back which is about to put a crimp in my fun.
Has anyone got a set of covers that they can part with? I need them as temporaries while I get the bike set up again. I can pay for them outright, or borrow them with deposit paid or whatever you suggest. Buying them piece by piece on ebay is going to take too much time...and I don't even really need the timing cover..
Let me know what you have and I can paypal you what you need...They don't need to be in great cosmetic condition, just gasket surfaces/seals need to be clean and flat and I need the clutch actuator mechanism ( the bell-crank and spring..) to be included.
Anyone who can help, just PM me...

    Thanks in advance...

You will need to re-shim the valves after you lap them. I did it very lightly to mine and it changed several of them by 2 sizes!

    So, just be prepared.

What all covers do you need? I have cam covers, Stator covers, and ignition covers that I don't need anymore. Email me if interested. Motopsycho@wat.midco.net
