xs manual

Can I get good results using xs manual owning xj w/yics, only manual I found is original at about $70.00.

Yes had found that link, I guess I should've said I have 82' xj .. which still has xs powerplant right? So would I be correct in assuming (we all know what assuming does) I can use 81 xs information?

hey maxedout.....not 2 sure about what engine came on what model.....would be best 2 get ahold of either topcatgr58, john talbot, or one of the other guru's here to give you the finer details....trust me, the infomation is here, just look and it will be thrust upon you....good luck in your quest....ross

Ross, when I log in I don't get an option for user and password, I get several options but which one do I use to find the manuals?

dpotter58...if ya used the user id/password i gave ya, it pops up with 3 options...auto repair is for cars/trucks......not sure what the middle option does...small engine repair is for atv's, snowmobiles, and motorcycles.....from there it will give you options to year, type, and model...hope this helps.....let me know how ya do...ross

hey dpotter58...i think ya gotta update your browser edition...i don't think ya got all the goodies to operate the page correctly...i'm using netscape 9.0.....don't know what u use as a browser, but look for an updated version...higher the version number, the better....try your browser home page or go to freedownloads.com for a new version...good luck...ross

Check out This thread for Jerry's reply, and then the first link, you'll be taken to a member's page, Jimboreeno, he has a link on his personal homepage, but you'll need to email him to get a Username/Password first! You should be able to find his email from his MAIN home page. OR...find him thru a member search here, and then click profile, and then click to send email!

OR....look in the Parts for sale forum, STICKY thread, look for RockJoks CDrom, has XJ manual as well as XS info.

The XJ's engine is fairly similar to the XS, but there are differences in the Head design with the YICS, the ALT which uses brushes, Air shocks for the rear, Oil LEVEL sensor vs. Oil Pressure unit, and many more electronic monitors and computer on the XJ!!
