missing signal bracket?

my 78 came out of the dealership with a vetter fairing on it and just took it off cant figure out how the directionals go on? took them off the faring looks like they go through a bracket with a square hole? am i missing a bracket? the orignal owner dosen't remember he had the dealer put the fairing on.

Your right .. your going to need the front signal brackets. They tend to be rare but do appear from time to time on e-Bay. Some members on this board may have some.
Their chrome and mount right under those lower bridge bolts if that is a standard bike. if special they are part of the headlight mounting hardware.

rob thanks for the info its a 78e square headlite so i'll have to find the brackets
