New tires are $250.00 +/- and you got them with the bike. I'd say you did pretty good.

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.

        Just purchased

        Welcome to XS land...
        SF's be pretty nice
How about posting a pic or two?
Bikes are worth only what one is willing to pay.
XSes can go for anywhere from free to over $10,000.00
From one that was parked out back of a barn for a decade or two (or a Louisiana swamp ) to something that looks like a show bike.

13,000 miles be less than one years riding (at least out here on the left coast ) so it has plenty of life to go.

        BTW,
if you do your own work on these bikes,
they be chee...less XSpensive than most

Welcome and congrats on the new bike!!! We will definately need (lots of) pics If you are very happy with the price you paid you got a great deal! If you are alright with the deal you receive then you got an OK deal. If you are angry about being gouged on the price you got ripped off, and you never should have made the deal. It is all a matter of perspective, yours. I (and I believe a great number of members here) love the XS11. As Ross stated, they do require work. I enjoy working on my bike They are great bikes and can attract alot of attention from other bike lovers.
