  • carb tuning?

Hello I have a 82 XJ and I am going to install clamp -on air filters. I was wondering if you have to change any of your carb jets.

Yes, if you are going with the individual pod filters you need to change the jets. do a search for "carb jetting" and "carb adjustments for mods" there is a nice list of how many jet sizes to increase with your mods. I'll try and track it down and link it in here.

I went up one size on the main jets to a 115, but I don't know that I NEEDED to. For what it's worth, my pipes don't turn blue or yellow?? the main question is... which pod filters? Some are good... some aren't.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!
