  • Tank Bra

Hi guys, over the years once in a while I have come across a tank bra for a standard tank. I haven't seen one in a while but I would like to have one. Do any of you know where I could find one or anyone who makes them? ? Thanks for any info you can offer.

    "What kind of fool..."

Only a boob would use a bra. (or something like that)

          tank bra.

I haven't seen one ,but it shouldn't be hard to sew one up, I wouldn't mind having a small one to protect the rear quarter of my tank from my belt buckle. How about it TC can you sew?

Ya, that's what I was thinking. Make a quick pattern and then sew a vinyl one together and line it with felt or something. Just as some protection when the bike is sitting somewhere or even in the garage. It shouldn't be too hard. I really only asked you guys because I knew it would get some good comments!!!

I would go with micro fiber for the liner, it won't hold moisture like felt and would be softer and less likely to scratch.

Special would need something like a B cup and a standard more of a D cup.

The Standard would need an under wire, while the Special looks good in a demi cup.
You know what they say...anything more than a tank full is a waste.

Ya know, you guys just don't know when to quit!! I knew that would spark a whole new meaning to the "Tank Bra" idea!! I guess I should have said "tank cover". Would that be more appropriate!!?? Anyway, I've had a good laugh over all the comments!! Thanks for the entertainment!!

I think the 6.5 gallon tank would be a "Dolly Tank""!!

My wife has a bra that has a pocket for sunglasses or a disc lock.

I used to be parts manager at a Jeep service center. I always snickered inwardly when some one came in asking for a bikini top. We had 2 versions, with straps or strapless.

I currently have in my possession the front cover from a class A motorhome, that I plan on making tank bibs with. If anyone is interested, send me the finished sizes that you want, just for bibs, and I'll get my buddy to make you one for $50.00. These are black, and already lined to prevent scratching.
