Thanks for all the great info on this site, I have killed way to many hours here today. I picked up a 79 XS1100SF last saturday for $25.00 out of a farmers pasture and so another project begins . Supposedly it ran a year ago and the odometer reads just over 9,000 miles. It was on the chopping block to become a mini-rail power plant( lucky for me he lost interest). After closer inspection I was surprised at how clean it is. Hopefully for just a few $$$ I can get it back on the road. Again thanks for all the usefull info .
