  • Pggg Chain drive addition

A little mod I made to Pggg's chain drive method. Its alot quieter and I think it should help in bracing. I Know the welds aren't great, I am kinda new to welding. Plus I did them in place.

There are sleeves over the bolts?
How about a pic showing the rear sprocket too?

      Welds

Now you can take it off and grind it smooth touch up the welds grind it smooth then flat black it. Great idea and i bet it is quieter too.

yes, the sleeves are 1/2 inch dia. steel tubing. It is much quieter and still removable. When I get the time I plan on smoothing it out and see if a lower section can be added. I also did it cause my chain was sometimes skimming the top rear tube. I am going to add a sort of chain guard to the rear leaf to keep the chain from hitting the tube. I tried to make a chain tensioner, and it worked except it made the chain hit in the area of the frame the Xschop says needs to be skimmed down and reinforced. around the lower front swingarm pivot tube.
