Yamaha XS1100-Werks-Rennmotor with double ignition and other nice Spielereien
This ENGINE is a singular engine:
Yamaha werksmotor by Emonts/Koeln one worked on and still one modified later and to 1999 the all first time in enterprise one took.
DATA: Serienhubraum(1101 ccm), fine-heaved and relieved crankshaft, Yoshimura Yamaha work piston, Yamaha work Rennpleuel, head works on cam shaft, double ignition and increased compression (1:10,25) with maximum out and inlet channels (was also times the eDaten on the Floatbench, has I however no more to the hand), Andrew's. The ignition is produced by Dyna s (no more TCI unit necessarily) and beaconed by 4 Dyna coils (ever 3 ohm).
Furthermore: co-ordinated running transmission with shorter first and second course; LOCK UP centrifugal clutch. The engine turns 9,500!!! and and its max have more revolutions. Achievement with 8.600 U/min. The latter times it was in the year ' 2000 without double ignition, with 1:9 compression and series carburetors on the test stand and brought 108 HP to the rear wheel!!!(nicht at the crankshaft, there was it over 130 HP!!!).
With the last modifications approx. 125 HP would have to rest against the rear wheel, which approx. 145-150 HP at the crankshaft correspond!
In the picture the engine on an original Yamaha engine Montagestaender hangs.
The double ignition is built of Bill, the LOCK UP clutch likewise. Also the ignition with ignition coils are from Bill.
All in all the previous owner over 10.000 DM invested, which has engine approx. 500 km road enterprise and 5 dragee running run, became thereafter equipped with new valves, completely examined, again sealed, provided with new open-loop system guidance and runs super, with enormous requirement behavior; no comparison with that comparatively rather "slow-acting" original.
