  • Plastic floats on 70's carbs

I know there are some members that have made the swap on their 70's carbs from the old brass to the the 80's plastic type. Did the different floats allow for using the same float height?

IIRC use the float height per float not per carb.

        Hey Jessie,

I thought it was SideCarKev that had first posted about being able to use the plastic floats in the earlier carbs, but I don't remember what he said about the float height! You might want to rig up the clear tube technique on just one carb, and play with it to see what it needs to get the right level, and then just measure it to set the other 3!? JAT!
