    Hi!

First Welcome to the board. There is allot of information to be had here. As you may already know.

Now to your question. It would help if you could let us know what year of bike you have and if it's a special or standard.

As for the fuel not reaching the cylinder do you mean all or just one or two of them? Have you tried the prime position on the petcock? If you had and still not getting any fuel you have something wrong with the float assembly. Could be sticking shut or not adjusted right. Also if you haven't tried the prime position and been using the on position and if you have a standard it requires vacuum to work the petcock. And also if you have a Special and it still has the octopus as they call it I believe it may be at fault as it's vacuum operated as well.

And you may want to check the fuel level. Is it low? Also check you gas cap vent. Just a few thoughts to check.

    Good luck!
    Chris

it is an 81xs1100 midnight special yeah i tried the prime position and gas gets to the lines... i also checked the vaccum by how the book tells you... i didn't mess with the floats when i jetted the main jet...

Have you pulled the line off where it goes to the carb to see if your getting gas to that point? If you are I'd say take your carbs back off and check to make sure your floats are free and not binding up on anything. You might also check the little screen that covers the float needle. If you even have to go that far. I'd say it has to be pluged or floats.

Also I don't know how you are about working on these carbs but I thought I'd warn you to be carefull about the float posts as they can break real easy if your not carefull.
