  • Clutch Slippage?

Hopefully this will be a quick question..

With the bike on the centerstand, if I put it in 1st gear should the tire spin with the clutch lever pulled in?

I changed my oil and started up the bike and noticed this. Could the oil be affecting the clutch. I used Valvoline 20-50.

    Quick Answer!

    Yes!

IT's a wet clutch, and even though you have the lever pulled in, there is oil around the plates, and so even though the clutch is slipping properly, it can still cause the rear wheel to slowly spin due to the fluid dynamics. No Worries!
