  • Help!!! Cam Chain Wont Go Onto Crank!!!

    DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS AS TO HOW I CAN GET THE CAM CHAIN BACK ONTO THE CRANK SPROCKET??? IM TRYING TO BUTTIN BACK UP THE BIKE AFTER A TOP END REBUILD.....ANY HELP WOULD BE APRECIATED!!

      Cody,

      Put the bike up on the centerstand.

      Make sure the engine is timed (T mark on the crank and dots on the cams).

      Remove the tensioner.

      Remove the chain from the cam sprockets.

      Wiggle and pull both sides of the chain until it hooks up on the crank sprocket.

        ok, well got it on, ended up just removing the intake cam inorder to pull the cam chain off of the chain guide inorder to wiggle better.....Thanks
