Engine rebuilders/restorers in Western USA?

After 12 years, I just put my 1980 XS1100G up for sale with a forum post (see http://www.chrisrimple.com if curious). But even as I was writing it, I was torn; that bike's brought me a lot of good memories. So maybe I'll change my mind and have it rebuilt/restored.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good XS11 engine rebuilders and/or restorers in the Western USA? Or anywhere in the USA, for that matter? I was disappointed to see the memorium post about Bob Jones of Merriam Cycles in Kansas; sounds like he would have been just the guy to bring my classic "back to new quality".

That is true, but Bob did want some serious scratch for his bikes. Personally, I think anyone could do it themselves regardless of knowledge level with this site to back them. And nothing beats the bond you will have with it when it is done. Other than DYI, I don't have too many suggestions.
