hey the funniest thing happened today... i went to the junk yard for parts for my car, and found a perfectly wrecked xs850 so i snaged the final drive and rear wheel. the problem is it has an 18" rear wheel as opposed to the 11's 17" rear. will it fit, will it change ratio xsivly, it has a brand new tire

You may have a spacing issue on the right side but everything else will bolt up. The xs11 has a 3.3:1 gear in the final drive as compared to 2.9:1 for the 850. I, and quite a few others here are running 750/850 final drives for the taller gear ratio, and the taller wheel may give you a slightly taller gear ratio. -
I have lots of xs1100 rear rim spacers if you need some. andreasComment
