LOL. I think I just heard Tim Allen grunt!

Good stuff, fellas. I really do thank you! Nice to know that a bike that's a year younger than I am will still beat most of what's out there today. I like hearing that. My bike is seriously going to be my daily ride while I'm home on leave (I don't have a car, and I think my mother sold her second one). Hopefully after a month straight of riding her, I'll become pretty familiar with her. I even have plans to take a longer (5-ish hour) interstate trip on her, though I'll be making a trip that's half that long a week or so before to get a feel for gas/rest stops a week or so before that.

i don't know if it's the fastest but i guess it be prett close. it has a kerker jets and no center stand! dropping the weight on these bikes make them alot faster. i had a 98 yzf600r and i think they feel pretty close. it is definatly faster than my radian was and they ran like 12.4 in the quarter. i am sure dropping the 4 into 2 and the centerstand gave it a good diet!! next i am going to install some slotted rotar the po gave me that won't drop a ton but it'll look cooler!

I don't know how they come up with it, but racers say that losing between 7-8 pounds is equal to a 1 HP gain on the bike. I persoanlly think I need to be on the diet... not my bike! lol

I use my center stand all the time and would hate to be without it for what little gains I'd make with it gone.

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

i didn't say i didn't have it it's just not installed. i have rarely ever used one in public. only a couple times on my old xs750 special.

if you need to do maintenance all you do is put the bolts in it and pop it up the stand. it still fits you just couldn't drive with it on there because it hangs down because it hits the pipe.
