that looks like it was a VERY fun project.
    Looking for an XS

    79 XS1100SF (RIP)
    - stock standard headers(stupid PO), slip-on after-market mufflers.
    - after-market rear shocks (PO installed)
    - no airbox, POD filters

    Misery remembered is ADVENTURE!

Can see some actual thought went into building it with the hyd. clutch and rear suspension among other little details if you look close. Notice a little hard shiftin missin a couple shifts with your knees stuck up around your chin.

cool bike. I'd be scared of something getting sucked up in the carbs sitting that close.

Could take the fun outa more than just a ridding.

Interesting swingarm. Loks like the stock shaft-drive with the right side removed, then 2 shocks at the front side.
I to found the carb inlet clearance disturbing.

                          Has the hydraulic clutch mod...

I'm pretty sure the air cleaner is a Levi model. Funny place to get a hicky though.

The lack of a rear brake concerns me a little, but with all that compression braking on such a light bike...hmmm...I don't use my rear brake much, but I'd miss it if it was gone.

Legroom's a bit skimpy for those of us over 4' I think, but no problem for smaller riders at a stoplight.

                          Easy engine access..

                          hmmm...

Hell,I'd rather say riding a motor, doesn't LOOK very fast but think of the rush doing 120 mph that close to the ground, whooooheeee,I'd like to see our cops faces when I come past him tongking flat out on that thing, wish I had the money to play around like that, wasn't it the same guys that put a suz 750 motor in a vespa or something?????
