    Wheel Paint

    G'Day from Aust,

    can anyone tell me the paint code for the gold color on the wheels of a 1981 XS1100RH?

    It's called Nebula Gold. HERE is what I found using the search function. Seems like a no-go so far.

      Here is a suggestion for ya. Why not try and get some automotive paint matched to a sample? Some place that handles DuPont or perhaps Valspar automotive finishes may be able to computer match a color if you have a viable sample. Worth a shot and you know your paint job will last.

        You know what i like better than paint is to have the rims media blasted and just expose the metal...like what was done on my new ride....

          Assuming your side cover is the same colour, take it to an automotive paint shop and say "can you match this?"

            Thanks for the responses everyone, get the feeling I'll take in a wheel and get it matched, if it comes out ok I'll post the results.

              i handle all of the paint at a napa store in maine. if it is possible for you to send me a sample i coule hook you up with the paint.
