reading through the different ways to modify your coil packs, which are dyna coils or the accel for a stock replacement, which are more reliable than the other, also the replacment of the coil wires with accel wires using the ngk ends, is this needed or can you use the ends that come with the wires to make a better connection, like the 45degree ends, thankyou mike s.

I have dyna coils on the hot rod XS. Use the boots that came with em.
Very tight fit mounting the coils tho..

BTW, if you need replacement coils, less costly and works good are some from mikesxs. Think info is in the tech tips.

I think mro means mikesxs.com.
I've been using accels for some time. No apparent performance change using the provided boots, vs. the NGK's. I believe the resistive OEM NGK's are only to help squelch noise interferance when you have a radio.1980sg-Stocker-- Sold

I have been running the 3 OHM, 35000 volt Dynacoils for a few years now and they have not missed a beat. Only thing I had to do to mount them in the stock position is make four very small aluminum angles to give room for the plug wire boots at the coils. Everything else hooks up like stock.
Wires I run are Accel 8.8 MM stainless wires and I use the boots that come with the wire set. Plus, the yellow wires look great.
This all may be a bit pricey but then there is the old saying....you get what you pay for.Mike Giroir

Once you un-can a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is with a bigger can.
