That's what I was thinking about doing. There has to be room for two single LEDs. I might try that later. I guess this is only a problem on '79 Specials?

Hello,
I have the 79SF also and I was wondering if adding a schottky diode inline with each front led turn signal and useing 2 polarized leds in the pod signal indicator would fix that? Maybe even a 2 color 3 prong led instead of 2 individuals??
The electrical engineers here might come up with something....1979 XS1100SF "Sakura Natsuhiboshi"

LED blinkers to work on the Special
Hey Guys,
Kuryakyn came up with the same idea as us, ready for install... This should allow the Special indicators to remain and still allow the LED's to work right.....
Diode Kit for Metric Bikes #4709
This kit is required when installing L.E.D. lights as turn signals on a motorcycle with a single turn signal indicator light. If this diode kit is not installed, power will back feed across the indicator light and all turn signals will flash at once.
