'70's carbs on 80's bikes

I have a set of the older carbs that I am just about ready to sell. But for testing, I want to install them on my bike and affirm that they are in perfect running order before they get sold. Anyway's, I was wondering where to start the idle screws at on my 81 with pod/4-1 combo. If they were 80's carbs, I would start at 3 turns out.

With just pods, I have started em at two and tuned em from there.
Stockers I start at 1 1/4.
