hi ive been searching for a left hand petcock for a xs11 special ive found one on ebay from a early xj900 from the pic it looks very sim but does anyone know if it will fit.

Don't know about the xj petcock, but I replaced the leaky petcocks on my SH with a pair scavenged from a Virago. I haven't compared Yamaha part numbers, but the Virago petcock appears to be identical in every way.Originally posted by robbo

Partsnmore has them for $20, but you need a $35 min order. Just looking at the two different kits there in Partsnmore, the XS and the XJ don't look the same.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
