'79 and later??? My guess, it's for the specials. It should fit a '78 if it fits a '79 standard. So far, the price isn't bad at all. Hooker was known for producing power in its day...

      It's a Jardine 4 into 1 system.

I suspect the Hooker decals fell in the box by mistake....

If you look at the bottom of page someone asks himi if its Hooker or Jardine, and his reply is Hooker. I have 2 Jardines and its definetly not a Jardine.

He says, right in the ad, that it's Jardine.

I have never heard of Hooker for bikes. I run Hooker Super Comps on my Monte Carlo.

Lets just say he has no idea what it is, and the hooker decals are from his car headers...

A few years ago I picked up half a dozen XS11 Hooker 4:1 exhausts from an "out of business" sale and sold them to list members at cost.

I'm pretty sure they were the same as in this auction. I tried a set on one of my SF's but didn't like them since it reduced the ground clearance way too much. I can't recall whether they interfered with the oil filter tho'......

Back in the day Hooker did indeed make pipes for motorcycles. I remember checking them out in the bike mags when I discovered that the Kerker pipes were close to $800.00 from the dealer. I do not remember them looking like that however. They still make them under the Hooker name for Harleys.
