Hey good score. Here in Ontario bikes, cars, trucks .. anything like that can not be given as a gift to someone who is not a family member. The TAX man wants his share of EVERY transaction. I got my basket 79 special for 1 dollar.

Congrats Chadwick on a great find.

Those pipes are OEM and look great!! Just a bunch of dust, should clean up nicely. Don't worry about the cracks on the intake carb boots, they can be cleaned up easily, and usually are not leaking....at least from the outside since they are double walled!! You'll want to get some new tires, a new battery, and clean ALL of the electrical connectors, replace ALL fluids, clean the brake MC's, and possibly the caliper chambers/pistons as well!

Aside from the connectors, don't forget to take apart the handlebar controls to check for corrosion, clean, lube etc.. Also the MAIN ignition switch. You may want to put in a new fuseblock with solid fuses vs. the glass style!

Also will want to clean the gastank, and the carbs of course!

Have fun this winter, and you should have a great ride this spring.
