    Is it worth it?

I found a 79 Standard locally. Going to check it out tonight, will post pics tomorrow.

Has 36K on the clock, needs paint, tires are good, has three seats, fairing, two sheilds and a trunk. Not sure of the running condition... been sitting a while. Probably batt and carb cleaning will do it. Also has an out of state title. All for $250?

Hell yeah...if it doesn't run at all you can sell the parts off, and make your money back, and then some.

      PARTS!?

      John, how could you?

You could probably sell it to another member for what you paid.

That's a no brainer EH!!!!!!!!! I drove seven hours and paid a bit more, not much more but it was well worth it .There are going for close to $1000.00 here for a bike with high mileage and in ruff shape. Just hand the money over and take it ,at that price you can take a closer look when you get it home.
