79 engine with carbs...anyone?

I live in Northern Florida and I have a spare engine, with carbs for a 79 XS100. I know the engine runs fine because I installed it in my 1980, however, I picked up this engine from a crashed 1100 with under 15000 miles on it and was assured all the gears work. I am a little more honest and will tell you that 2nd gear is gone. If you would like to make an offer, please let me know at
