    Carb O/D

These are 54mm - anyone know off the top of their head if that's right for the XS11. They seem to think so but I like to check.
Like the idea of "no oil" to.

    Thanks

They will fit, i think what GNE was going to say is if you dont have pod filters on there now you'll have to probly install different jets in your carbs and re-adjust the carbs.. I like to looks of pods but everyone has there own personal taste.

Look at the inside of the filter, there is a thick ridge that will partially block the 4 or 5 holes that surround the outside of your ventury. This will cause your bike to run extra rich and stumble hard/hesitate from about 3 to 5 thousand RPMs.
Look around on this site, people have figured out how to put the cheap filters on without problems, but it's up to you if you don't mind how they look.

yep listen to the man. However, there are 2 ways you CAN use them. One is to dremel out the ridge so it doesn't obstruct the jets. The other is to do TC's Velocity Stack Mod.

Mmmmmmmmmm now I'm thinking. The velocity stack mod seems good - but I don't like all the jubilee clips (whatever you guys call the ones you tighten with a screwdriver).
Dremeling also seems pretty straight forward, doesn't ti weaken the pod though?
