I've seen those and thought about it, but then I'd still have to do the final tuning myself. And I don't have the equipment, working tach, or knowledge.
once you get the carbs jetted properly,
maintenance will consist of:
vac synk once ever year or two
clean when if needed (check/reset float height then)
tools:
one phillips, one small and one medium flat screw driver
cheep metric caliper
vac stix's

not me,you are in the right place this is the ever evolving library of crankcase.
working tach?, buy one be patient, you may snatch one off of ebay for a song, can you sing?
owning an old motorcycle means you need some equipment, what is it that you need? go buy it, even a carb sync can be made for 25 bucks.
okay i'll stop with the dutch uncle stuff, come on now you can do it, i'm pulling for ya!
besides give it up... you ride like a sissy
The tach itself isn't the issue, the wires are crossed with the neutral safety switch. If it's in N or I hold the clutch, no tach.
And about my riding: WHO'S the one trying to pass the new guy on the outside in the middle of a turn and WHO'S the new guy that was able to stay up and far enough inside? lol
just wanted to get a rise outa you, i knew you had balls...
diverray was keeping the rally ride civil and i appriciate that no one got hurt, especially hearing about tc's ride with an ensueing spinal injury, believe you me, this site keeps me on my toes i need stories like that to startle me back to asphalt, but not the hard way the easy way get it?
the only prob i had with the neutral sender, was it leaked and i over tightened it and it snap off, i had to drain the old to remove that cover, pita...
i just don't see how pulling the clutch in would have anything to do with that switch, that clutch is entirely mechanical, no electircal in the least, have you tried to isolate the prob, like disconecting the wire to the nuetral switch?
did you get the bike like that? or did it start after you did something? you have a short somewhere...

I got the bike like that. But I thought the clutch worked on the safety switch like having it in Neutral does? It's about the only thing that makes sense, as I only get tack in gear and moving and only lose it in Neutral or with the clutch. Or with the horn button...
What MRO said!! There is a ground missing somewhere. Mine did that when I first started it up after sitting for all those years. Clean every electrical connection you can find and the fuse block.
