    Hey Opflash,

Just checked the Fiche, its headlight lens is the same as the 81SH, and it's a 7" round!

        Hey OpFlash,

If you find a source for fairings, could you let me know?

        thanks, LCS

Thank you. I'll be investigating seat mods, I think. I need to be able to sit further back.

I've heard about Diamond and Sargent. I'm also familiar with the Mayer brothers, who work separately for some reason and do very different designs.

Ive at times wished i could be a bit farther back on the maxim. that step in the seat for the passenger is fairly high. I hear sargent is a really good company for seat rebuilding.

I'll keep you posted on that.

I'm going to contact a few of them and see what they charge.

The seat that's on the bike now looks "like new," but I think it was a cheap cosmetic job.

When you look underneath, the foam is ancient and shredding.

                best, Leon
