What a dirty nasty job, anywho was wondering what i should use for paint. I already have self-etching primer and Dupli-color 'Paint shop' jet black. Will that be tough enuff for the frame?

"Should be no problem."
It's just a frame.
As with any paint, if you scrape things against it, it'll break through.
But on the plus side, you can just grab the can and touch it up.
Be careful cleaning the bike/engine. Solvents like Brakleen will eat right through it."Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a mechanic!' ('Bones' McCoy)

Be different. Try using the spray-on bedliner (used on pickup trucks). It will be tough as nails and have an interesting texture.Pat Kelly

I used Brownells Alumihyde on two restorations and it works great. It's made to paint guns so it has to stand up to gun cleaning solvents. It won't come off with gas, oil or Gunk. I sprayed it directly to the bare metal, no primer. It doesn't come it gloss black though. I used semi-gloss and it looks good.
