        Go for it!

        Hi Malber,
        a grand won't get you a low mileage XS650 in good nick any more. You'd spend more than $400 un-denting and de-rusting a rough one. And look! It's another '81 Yamaha Special AND the seller still has the real seat & hopefully grab-rail & tail light included in the package. Man, it's practically got your NAME on it.

            Hi Malber,
            So offer the man the grand that you have.
            Or there's always credit. Credit! The entire US economy is fuelled by credit. It is your civic duty to borrow the balance of that money to buy that nice bike for your wife. It's practically an Un-American Activity to only buy what you can afford.
